If the Reds go 0-162, I'm still going to be rooting as passionately for them as when they went 108-54. I want them to win every game and when they don't, I don't sleep well. And I like to sleep well. It is perfectly okay to criticize what or who you love as long as you continue to love. The Reds will always be my favorite sports team, win or lose.

I can't say I am like that with a professional team, but I sure couldn't sleep when I lost an intramural game to another fraternity, even if it was volleyball lol. Luckily for me, it was extremely rare.

I think what Dusty said and how he said it to Carpenter is why his guys love playing for him so much other than the fact he gives them a chance to get out of slumps.

August 11, 201016 yr I really think Stubbs was safe on that. And I also think Pujols is playing through some pain and has been for a little while now, but you'll never hear about it. I hate that he's a Cardinal, but he is a baseball player I can respect.
