The KHSAA will have to either force Russellville to play in that district, or they'll have to wiggle to allow Ballard Memorial down to 1A. Either way it's a mess.

Haven't seen the list myself, but I'm almost certain Oldham is headed for 6A. South should stay in 5A.

Actually, after looking over the scenarios, this could possibly happen, but then they would probably have to take a school like Oldham Co. and move them up with the Northern Kentucky district.

So, if Dunbar does move up and Fern Creek moves down at least one of the Northen Kentucky teams will have to move to a Louisville district. If it stays the way it is according to the article,

one of the Northern Kentucky teams could move to a Lexington district.

So you are thinking Oldham Co. (close to Louisville) would move to NKY. And one of the NKY schools would move down to Louisville. 90 miles away??? :confused:

Both Fulton City and Fulton County are under 200 students ... even if they merged, they would still be a Class A school.

 

Not to get sidetracked, but if those two schools merged you would have a new Class A contentender from the word 'go'.

I see North Bullitt, Bullitt East going in with the 3 Jefferson County 5A teams - Fairdale, J-Town, Iroquois, and Bullitt Central staying in district with John and North Hardin and maybe Grayson Co???
