Not sure who the TB is the guys are talking about, I thought Abner was WR. But I heard the starting TB didn't scrimmage. So how did the Marion scrimmage go and when do they scrimmage Boyle and where?

Abner started at TE in the scrimmage. They used him for his blocking ability. Looks like he may not play much offense this year. PC had 5 kids sit out of the scrimmage. Jarrod Flynn has been released from the Dr and should be back on the field shortly after being burned in an incident over the summer. It will be nice to have him back with the Maroon family.

Abner at TE. HAHAHA. I saw him on tv catching passes everywhere and they interviewed him and he said people would expect him to run td's if the qb didn't throw them. No need to try tell us he wont be a big part of the O, we have sen him 2 times already. So who is the TB and did he play against Marion. What time is the scrimmage with BOYLE. I may try to make it to that one.

Eastham looked rusty on the first couple of drives, but got better as the scrimmage went on. Overall the Maroons didn't look the best against Marion. They had trouble moving the ball on Marion's D and looked way out of sync. Marion had a lot of kids out and had good speed. Anthony Epps has them excited over there this year.

Well I bet that Abner plays WR,RB and not TE. If he plays TE someone needs to have their head checked. The kid is legit WR/RB in college and it is unjustice to stick him at TE, even if he goes out for pass. Spread him out and let him run. If PC dont want him send him to a school who needs a DI WR.

How can PC not look good after they have the whole team back from their region team. Something isnt right.

I'd say you all will be fine and Eastham will shake the rust off soon enough...he is a cool headed QB who has a lot of potential. Give him time. As far as Marion goes, they were pretty tough over there last year and as I remember, they gave Bell County (a 4A contender last year) a run for their money early in the season. With the screaming speed Pulaski has, I don't think you have a whole lot of worries. If there is anything to Pulaski's line, you should be fine.

Did Boyle County beat Pulaski 42-0 in their scrimmage last night? I talked to the parent of a Northern football player and he said Pulaski suffered some injuries in the game including Abner, Eastham and Cornett. He said that he heard Cornett's injury might be serious. I hope that those 3 are okay, they will be big keys to the Maroon's season.

Cornett didn't play. He has been out with a knee injury since early in the practice season. Tyler Abney injured a knee last night. Don't know how bad he is. Saw on facebook Abner has an ac sprain. Eastham got his bell rung but finished the scrimmage. It's the walking wounded at PC right now. Good thing they have a week off to get prepared for the Correll Bowl, they need every minute. As for the scrimmage, from a fans point of view, they looked beat when they stepped off the bus. Seemed to be a lazy effort and just going through the motions. That's the good thing about a scrimmage, it lets you know where you stand and what you need to do to get better. I have a feeling practice will not be pleasant next week.

That was a couple of rough teams to scrimmage. But it should help prepare the Maroons for the regular season. Hopefully everyone is gets healed up, we're looking forward to having y'all over for the Corell Bowl in a couple of weeks.

How do you not get up to play or scrimmage Boyle. Our coaches always had us fired up for a scrimmage, we loved it.

We are talking about teenagers. You never know what to expect. Can't explain it, don't know how or why, just the way it is. Luckily, they have 2 weeks to get healthy and get prepared to play football. I'm sure everything will be just fine with this team.

I guess so, but all of the scrimmages I have ever seen the kids always went hard and never backed down or looked beat when they got off the bus. Maybe we were old school or still are but our coaches always had us prepared and fired up. Maybe it is different at Pulaski. Maybe no one takes a scrimmage serious.

Update on injured Maroons from Scrimmage at Boyle. Any body going to miss a game? Hope all are good to go by next week.

Logan Warren starting corner has also been out the last two scrimmages with a bad back but should be back for Correll Bowl
