June 6, 201016 yr My guess is that they're trying to appeal to a group who has a lot of disposable income in a country where, and I'm just guessing, its somewhat acceptable to be gay. Lots of companies are targeting the gay market.

Straight, gay, short, tall, fat, skinny, black, white, yellow, red, everyone eats and I've never heard of anyone in this day and age feel unwelcome at a McDonalds. So I still just don't get the point. I mean, do gays not already eat at McDonalds?

I'm guessing they're being proactive and saying "let us be the first to publicly welcome you." Just a guess.
