I would not condone that if it was my son who I have taught to walk away. Preston was lucky the step Dad was not packing heat like alot of people do in this day and age. Since I am so totally biased, I will not post anymore on this subject or the next time someone beats the daylights out of someone step dad in self defense. Offensive or not, and you're right, I don't know you. Neither makes a difference regarding my former post. UK folks quick to jump on, and Mason ready to pile on, same old song just a different forum if you ask me. If I offended you, I apologize. Yet, I have a feeling that there would have been alot of posts of the same ilk had I not said it. Call it what you will. Was it stupid? Sure. Do I condone it? No. But not a single soul in this forum has a clue what really happened other than a heated dispute and bad judgement.

May 26, 201016 yr I'm not going to comment much because I wasn't there. I'll wait for more details to come out before passing judgment. I can only speak for myself here. Say what you want about me, call me out, that's fine. Put your hands on me and you're fair game... I wouldn't attempt to hurt an older man for putting his hands on me, I would do enough to let him know he messed up. If he did put his hands on Preston, hopefully seeing those black eyes every morning for a few days will be a lesson learned for him.

That's pretty much what you would pick up in a fist fight right? Community service if you don't have much/anything on your record. If charges are even made and I trust your info over almost anyone on here.
May 27, 201016 yr I'm just guessing on the charge part. Dude's face is not a pretty sight. From what I can gather, PK has not been in any trouble at UL and on track to graduate on time, so he will finish it out. Hopefully, this gets resolved quickly.
May 27, 201016 yr Here's $.02 from a Mason County fan who would prefer to see NO young man in trouble, regardless of school affiliation. Hopefully the facts will come out and things will get resolved. Just conjecture, but it sounds like an argument that escalated into a fight; bad judgement shown by both parties. We can all say "walk away", and I'd like to think I could do it, but hopefully I'll never have to find out. On the other side of the scale (I am a Libra, after all), if I'm Preston, I keep looking behind my back as aften as possible for the next 30 years or so.
