She called me and told me. It didn't end there, ask her about having to use a flashlight, and where they had to stay.

Oh lord. One of those days. I did hear about the hotel, but that was before they knew the seemingly expected details...

One of those weeks is what she has had.

That is the way she is.

The NKY Bulldogs went 1 - 1 in pol play, but made it to the gold bracket by margin of victory. The Bulldogs lost the opener on a last shot 3 to loose by 2 to the Illinois Magic. 8 was the magic number to secure the gold bracket trip and the Dogs rebounded to win by 33 over the Jackson Bulldogs.. In their 3rd game of the day, the Bulldogs lost to a solid (but beatable) Grand Rapids Storm team by 8. This game was decided at the free throw line. The Storm was 22 for 24 from the line and the Bulldogs were 5 for 8. That is hard to overcome. All of the Bulldogs played hard and they had different players step up at different times. Bobby Stauffer and Todd Vollet were very consistent. Robbie Barber, Matt Trammel, and Jacob Flesch were exceptional at times and solid at others. Jack Stewart and Tyler Hodges played well. Danny Boateng and Asiel Langley were key in providing sparks off the bench.

The Shining Star Sports-Davis team played very well this morning. They were edged out by the Indiana Elite team by a score of 61 to 58.

Any info on who looked good for each team? GRC had 3 players in this game. Stenzel and Purvis for SS-Davis and Zollo for Indiana Elite.

If some of you have not seen Hanner play, try and catch a game of his this summer. Remember his name as you will see it alot for the class of 2012.

Perea is an elite level athlete.
For the most part the highlights of Indiana Elite's win came from Hanner Perea. The 6-foot-8 forward is a physical specimen, and someone with absolutely freakish athletic ability. More than that though, Perea has a solid feel for the game and good hands around the rim and on the break.

In the win Perea was a monster. He blocked shots, snatched rebounds well above the rim, converted in transition, and threw down incredible ally-oops. His skill set is still a little raw on the post, but his strength and athleticism make him a very difficult matchup for most forwards, especially at his age level.

Is this the same Guynn that played for Scott County? If so, wasn't he a senior this past season?

Same one, but he is going to a prep school so he will considered a recuit in the class of 2011.

Thank you GS

Hanner had a windmill dunk yesterday that was NBA dunk contest worthy and had everyone in Assembly Hall buzzing...

Indy Elite down 4 to UL commit Ryan Taylor and Team Southern Indiana with 4 minutes left in the game...

The tournament favorites at 17U fall in the quarterfinals to Team Southern Indiana 68-64...

Any word on how Kentucky Elite 15U and Kentucky Select did in the Silver tourney today? I saw on the schedule where they won their first round games and advanced. Both were in opposite brackets.
