An announcement is expected shortly. It is believed he failed the test during spring training.
April 20, 201016 yr SI.com story says suspension begins April 21st, that would have him available back on June 15th by my count. If that is the case then it won't be that bad really.

April 20, 201016 yr Well, this is the culture of major league baseball. From what I understand, it is also rampant in the islands near the Dominican. Honestly, this is probably a good decision by Volquez. He won't miss any time and is able to heal quicker than usual. It's difficult to condone a guy breaking the MLB substance abuse policy, but this is about as close as you can get to legitimacy, IMO.
