October 21, 200521 yr Not they were renters the owner of the apt building was paying the taxes. Let me 'splain it to you. Building owners get the money to pay the taxes as part of the rent. The renters pay the taxes.
October 21, 200521 yr No they were only renters the owner of the apt building was paying the taxes. And as I stated the 17 year old lived there alone .Oh except for all the 17 year old boys that seemed to magically appear from the bowels of the apartment as if a miracle was happening. So, you are trying to imply that some of the rent money is not used to pay taxes? Because if you are then you are very wrong. So therefor renters do pay taxes.
October 21, 200521 yr Ok OK I give . It still was underhanded since the mother signed the lease but a minor was the sole occupant. And they lied when they said she was a student at NKU when in reality she was in high school .Any way you look at it it smells .
October 22, 200521 yr Author #5 is true....not false....the "bus" referenced is a small passenger bus with bench seats. Holds about 10.
October 22, 200521 yr Author With all due respect ALLWORKNOPLAY, there are other schools outside Northern Ky. Many have (and still do) some or all of these practices.
October 22, 200521 yr Author Just for the record Lexington Catholic has no bus system. Do they have a shuttle bus?
October 22, 200521 yr Nope, I went to school there last year. There is no transportation provided by the school, sorry.
October 22, 200521 yr Author Nope, I went to school there last year. There is no transportation provided by the school, sorry. I must be seeing things then. Maybe I need to take my medication.

October 23, 200521 yr Then you should report it all to the KHSAA and be a hero. I agree, if you have information about a violation (such as providing busing for an athlete, do the intelligent thing and report it. Posting it on BGP's doesn't do any good. All it does is make readers assume it is gossip with absolutely no truth.
October 23, 200521 yr Surely if a school is going to recruit they are going to do it in a manner that wouldn't be as obvious as sending a bus to pick up a couple of athletes. You could at least give the privates a little bit of credit in your accusations.
October 23, 200520 yr Author This article was in The Frankfort paper today. http://www.state-journal.com/article.php?pathToFile=/articles//sports/&file=_sports2.txt&article=1&tD= The full article states that during the 2005 girls 11th regional playoff, ther were 8 players from frankfort on the floor at one time. Five with Franklin County jerseys and 3 wearing Lexington Catholic. Although I am against seperating the public/private schools, this is laughable. Oh.........and here's some credit to Lex. Cath !!!!!

October 23, 200520 yr Author What Catholic High school should those 3 have attended? Lex. Cath. is a GREAT choice for those so serious about wanting to keep their kids in a Catholic School. But i wonder if they would have still made that choice if they weren't allowed to participate in varsity sports. I do know this: the older brother of that LCHS girls' squad (who wasn't nearly the athlete) didn't make that drive to Lexington. Two others mentioned in the article on the boys squad (Brendan Woody and Will Graham) aren't Catholic.

And plenty of non-Catholics attend Catholic schools. I am not that familiar with the Frankfort area but are there any private schools that are KHSAA members in that area?
