OhioForce1 Posted April 1, 2010 Posted April 1, 2010 Final. The score doesn't summarize the game. It was 9-6 Conner going into the 5th. Then St. Henry took out 4 starters and the game got way out of control!
IBALL Posted April 1, 2010 Author Posted April 1, 2010 St. Henry's starter kept the Cru in the game as long as he could. Conner flat out crushed the ball in the top of the sixth to put up 14 runs. Conner's starter had a rough night, but their relief pitcher threw very well allowing only 1 run. Conner is now 5-0 on the season.

sportsfan22 Posted April 1, 2010 Posted April 1, 2010 Samad started for the Cougars, not sure the name of St. Henry's starter? Both teams were very sloppy on defense! Conner still trying to find a third baseman that they can rely on. Base running mistakes continue, need to work on that. It will be a interesting matchup on sat.

IBALL Posted April 1, 2010 Author Posted April 1, 2010 Who do they play on Saturday? Cov Cath at 9 and Ryle following that game. Both are at CCH.
Clyde Posted April 2, 2010 Posted April 2, 2010 I see the score was called in as 16-6. Arlo follows in the footsteps of his teacher.

doubledeuce Posted April 3, 2010 Posted April 3, 2010 I see the score was called in as 16-6. Arlo follows in the footsteps of his teacher. Why report the score incorrectly? By doing this does all the stats not count?
Clyde Posted April 3, 2010 Posted April 3, 2010 Why report the score incorrectly? By doing this does all the stats not count? Stats count. In the past I know Krumps has often kept blowouts at a 10-run margin in the paper. I think it was last year that they destroyed the Cru but it was a 10 run win in the paper.
cooperstown Posted April 4, 2010 Posted April 4, 2010 The St. Henry team I saw on Saturday looked pretty solid. Certainly not a team that would get beaten by 2 TD's and a 2-point conversion. Obviously a lot depends who's on the mound for them. I liked the pitcher they threw against Ryle on Satruday (Zerhusen, I beleive). He'll keep them in any games he pitches.

Coop is correct and as I posted in the CovCath vs ST. Henry thread, this isn't last years Cru team. They play solid baseball.
