March 31, 201016 yr My guess is the cops being sent to your house would be the reason for dismissal. Again, at home...not at work....a code of conduct can, and usually does, cover any behavior or condut, no matter where you are, even at home.

I apologize, I got caught up in the repetitive nature of this thread. So the government shouldn't interfere in this matter, but people should not exercise their right to operate their own companies as they see fit within the law? I'm caught up now.

It's just that when I was younger, people were treated better than this. I find it sad we're moving in the direction we are.

March 31, 201016 yr I bet they didn't quit smoking either, at home that is. Sorry, charge them more for their insurance, but no one has a right to tell you you can't smoke. You had the option to either quit smoking or quit working for that company. Sure you could cheat, but then again if you have an insurance claim and they can prove you smoke, you not only lose your job, but your sickness wasn't covered either. Yes they can!

Just doesn't seem they have the backbone anymore. Everyone is too willing be treated like a child it seems.
