March 29, 201016 yr Author If you go to Aruba don't miss this Tomcar attraction. Doubledeuce tried to eliminate the paNDA on this adventure while in Aruba. It alone is worth the trip. That looks fun.
March 29, 201016 yr Ask Natalie Holloway if she had a good time. Sad situation but a bit overblown considering the number of deaths each month in our local communities. I would rather have my family visit Aruba then go downtown Cincinnati. Aruba is perhaps the safest place I have visited in all my years of travel.

Aruba is perhaps the safest place I have visited in all my years of travel. I agree. A buddy of mine is going to Mexico for the first time, he keeps saying he's not going to leave the resort. I told him I felt safer walking around Playa Del Carmen than I did walking the streets of Detroit, New York and Memphis. People who are not responsible are the ones who get in trouble.
March 29, 201016 yr Great place Windy constantly, made for an interesting golf game. Shopping is touristy but fun. Booze cruise is great, it goes out for sunset. All water sports are great. There is a snorkeling tour that takes you to 3 places, all great to see, including a old man made reef (maybe an old ship) that is in rough water but really neat for the experienced snorkeler. I stayed at the Radison, great place, pools were like mini beaches and surrounded by some great landscaping to keep the sandy wind off of you.
March 30, 201016 yr My wife went with a girlfriend a couple years ago and had a blast and just the other day she said she wants me to have something booked by April 1st for Aruba. Good news is my good friend has a timeshare we can use and her same girlfriend that took her to Aruba 2 yrs ago offered us free flight tix as she is a travel agent. Im looking forward to it. She said the people are very very friendly and it is a beautiful place. I will stay tuned to this thread as many post their experiences on here.

I have been to Aruba a few times on family vacations and I think the people are very friendly. That was one incident. Defiantly safer than Cancun or Jamaica. Clyde, my mom worked in the airlines when we were younger so we flew all over for vacation every year since we flew for free. Of all the places I have been, Bahamas, Cancun, Cozumel, Grand Caymans, Jamaica, The D.R., Puerto Rico, and The Virgin Islands, I think Aruba has been my favorite. You can't beat the beaches there. Not many other places in the Caribbean have the beaches Aruba has. We love to snorkel and in Aruba you can just walk right into the ocean outside of your resort and snorkel. The waves are very calm and there isn't any type of undertow. We mostly stayed on the resort, which was the Divi I believe. All inclusive is the way to go IMO. When we did go off the resort we went to the other side of the island which is a lot of fun. There is the natural bridge. Also the sea is a lot more rough on that side so don't plan on swimming. We rented 4-wheelers and a jeep and went off roading too. I'd say go to Aruba.

April 1, 201016 yr I've been a lot of places and Aruba is my favorite place I've ever been. I would HIGHLY recommend it.
