Nooooooooo!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Mike Brown is settling for the cheaper player once again.

This obviously doesn't mean that the Bengals will automatically sign him, but it does show where their head's at.

This means that they have decided to persue him instead of TO and Marshall IMO. Bad decision, but this means we get to keep our first round pick, but I would still like Marshall instead.

Are you guys surprised or just angry and let down?

Way too early for that. If they get Bryant and nobody else then yes, I'll be very upset. Bryant can play some ball and could help this team with other additions at receiver.

Not surprised at all. Angry, let down, disgusted, confused, lost, etc. Typical move by Mike Brown. It's one thing to be cheap but to be cheap when you come across a player like Brandon Marshall and a 1st round pick is nearly all that you're giving up for him and you don't jump on him, you jump on the cheaper, weaker, older, less talented guy, it makes me sick. I guess this is all Bengal fans are going to have to live with for a long time. Things aren't changing when we have such a good defense and running game and all we need is a dominant physical pass catcher to stretch the field (i.e. Brandon Marshall) and we don't jump on him when we clearly could. Makes me want to :puke: Always trying to come by a steal or a bargain when clearly there's a perfect player right in front of their faces. Spend some money Mike, you penny pinching moron.

For the record, I'm only angry that we're not pursuing Brandon Marshall, not the fact that we might sign Bryant. I think he's still a good receiver but just not even close to Marshall.

While I'm far from a Bengals fan I agree with everything you've said. Bryant isn't bad but it's kind of like passing up Eva Longoria because you think Kate Winslet would be easier to get.

Oh I forgot, let's overreact because this has already happened :idunno:

When Mike Brown calls Brandon Marshall to meet in Cincy then I'll retract my statements. It's the fact that were looking at the cheaper receivers instead of Marshall it has nothing to do with overreacting because we think he's already signing a contract.
