While Sandlin did a great job on Jump, I thought the turning point in the game was when Crittendon exited due to foul trouble with about 6 minutes left in the 2nd quarter. Up until that point, Moss had not been much of a factor in the game. Once Crittendon went out, Boone did the smart thing and made sure Moss touched the ball on every offensive possession. As a result, Moss scored all 9 of Boone's points in the quarter and brought them back from a five point deficit. If Crittendon doesn't pick up the second foul, I think Ryle would have extended their lead because Boone was not hitting anything from the outside and Moss had not been getting many touches.

Exactly the point about Sandlin. Who do you think was getting the ball to Moss? Sandlin is #3 in the state in assist

Congrats to the Lady Rebels. Good luck at State.

It amazes me that the contributions of a good point guard get overlooked so often. Without Sandlin, Ryle wins the Region.

Ryle played with a lot of poise until the last minute. They then got visibly emotional on the floor, didn't get a good shot(s) despite plenty of time and then forgot to foul once they missed. Boone got the ball with 6 seconds left and Ryle watched Boone dribble the time away. The amount of pressure just keeps turning up until the final horn.

Moss was very good but Sandlin did take over the last three minutes. She has the been there and done that experience and played very good at state last year.

Great season Ryle, probably the preseason number one in my book.
