March 6, 201016 yr I finally landed a real job within my field of study! I was hired today at The Point/Arc of NKY! I will be working with special needs adults which should look good on my special education resume in a year and a half when school is over with. I trained today and had a blast with the people I will work with. I am putting in my two weeks at my current job in the morning. Finally, after 3 years, no more working in a grocery store for this guy!:dancingpa

March 6, 201016 yr Glad to hear this. I worked for the local Community Mental Health Center for 29+ years before retiring in late 2008. While you many not get rich, there are plenty of other rewards in this field.:thumb:

Have fun!:thumb: I will be there but working with my guy's! Look for me when you take your first break! I will be around there from about 9:15 to about 10:45/11:00am each day!

March 11, 201016 yr Author I finished up 4 days of Core 1 training today. I also accomplished something on my bucket list by finally meeting TheOldGuy.
