Voting at a church on being wet or moist... Jesus' first miracle was turning water into wine. Maybe there's hope.

Around here they say Jesus did not turn water to wine,but water to grape Juice.:ohbrother:

Can someone explain to me what moist means? I've never lived in a moist or dry county.

I believe it means that restaurants can serve alcohol but you can not purchase it at stores.

When Restaurants that seat 100 or more/with at least 70% sales from food can sell alcohol.

Basically you are allowed to go out and drink at a Restaurant,but not allowed to buy Alcohol,Beer or Wine from a store to drink in the privacy of your own home.Unless you buy it in a wet area.

Kind of Backwards.:irked:

In a Dry Territory it's against the law to give a guest in your own home a beer!:scared:

I'm Guility!!!:thumb::thumb::thumb:

Do you not find it Ironic that you can purchase Alcohol in Vatican City, but not Danville, Kentucky!!!!!!

Maybe the Pope will move here if it stays dry.

Per Advocate "Early turnout proves light for Danville alcohol vote". IMO this is good news for the YES side.

I doubt it. Jesus has wanted to to move here for years,but some of the Church folks will not let him in.:thumb::D

I have been working in Danville for 29 years. I sure hope I can stop on my way home soon and puchase a case of beer to take home instead of having to go home through Lancaster. :thumb::thumb:

Heck, Danville is the wettest moist city I have ever been to.:D
