Great songs Bluto. :thumb: I was looking at your list, and judging from the selection, I came up with the following about you (feel free to confirm, deny, or completely ignore):

Crazy On You - 1976

Smoke On The Water - 1972

Radar Love - 1973

Sharp Dressed Man - 1983

Story In Your Eyes - 1971

School's Out - 1972

Dead Babies - 1971

Cross-Eyed Mary - 1971

Aqualung - 1971

Let Ir Ride - 1973

You were in high school circa '70-'74. Who can forget the tunes they rocked out to in high school - particularly in the weight room during summer strength & conditioning for football? You got into college in '75 or so, and you stuck with the tried and true rock classics from your teens. The mid-70's came around and disco began slowly trying to destroy music, but those rockin' Wilson sisters managed to create a classic with their Dreamboat Annie album, and your hope was restored.

All together, it's been the classic rock masterpieces that have sustained you, but the persistence and relatively unchanged blues-rocking of the ZZ Top boys managed to pump out another favorite to add to your collection in the early '80s. I might also guess that, although not on your short list, you would probably include SRV's Pride and Joy among your favorite "Gotta Crank 'Em" songs.

So...am I anywhere close??? :D

CWB, you are dead on!! Are you a detective or something? High school class of '74, College '78.

However, I am about to dash all of your kind thoughts toward me by admitting that I actually LIKED Disco (both the music & the dancing), & was/am a Barry Manilow fan. I also performed songs by Cat Stevens, John Denver, Bread and Simon & Garfunkel. (can you say "Eclectic"?)

Depends on my mood!

I have a gift

I guess I'll just have to overlook the disco thing. I can deal with the 70's singer-songwriters I suppose, seeing as Nick Drake is one of my absolute favorite recording artists, phew, but the disco thing...I'll just ignore.
