How did Highchew (sp?) do? I don't really know why (because I'm a Brossart fan) but I really like Highchew's game. And he's just a real tough kid, I wish hime luck!

Highchew was aweseome as were all the guards for NCC. Newport put Foster on Pangallo and he had his shot blocked a lot which held his scoring down, but Grant controlled the game with his ball handling and passing. You could make a Pangallo top 10 highlight film with his no look passes. Newport had no answer for him. He found the open man over and over and made every player on the court wearing blue better. Geisler also had a monster game and controlled the boards. No one is going to want to draw NCC the way they are playing.

That was one of the big factors in this game. NCC looked way more prepared than Newport IMO.

NCC always has their assistant coaches scouting games, they did a very nice job of coaching against Highlands by spreading the floor when they got the 10 point lead.

I was there for this one (4th district game in four nights for me) and I was very disappointed. It appeared to me that NCC was a bit more prepared, but honestly Newport could not throw one in the ocean tonight. Things just kind of snowballed, between NCC's discipline and the fact that Newport could not make any shots it just turned into a blowout.

The final margin suprised me. I had Newport picked in a close one. Congrats to NCC.
