Final

Bracken County 78-53

Augusta closes book on 5-21 season.

Augusta loses only Hunter Kiskaden to graduation.

Bracken County claims a berth in the 10th Region Tournament

Tough year for Augusta, but they should really improve in the off season and have a pretty good year next year. Congrats to the Polar Bears. Good luck in the Region!

When was the last year Bracken Co. made it to the region? Was it 2004 when they upset Brossart? I can remember when Bracken Co. was basically in the region every year.

Bracken might lose to Mason but it won't be by the amount you say. Also I guarantee they will score more than 39 points.:ohbrother:

1st off Mason has to beat St. Pat Tonight,Second If they do play Thur Bracken will play Mason close that score is absurd,This isn't the Mason of the last few years.Should be a fun 2weeks coming up,Back to what this thread is about Bracken and Augusta...

Augusta only lost one senior to graduation, so there is going to be a turn around from a 5-20 season.

Bracken's last trip to the region was in 04.

Where was the Kelsch boy? The tall one.

Isn't he the coach?

Jacob Kelsch, the starting center was ill and unable to play. He is a cousin of the head coach Robin Kelsch. Freshman Tanner Kelsch is the coach's son.

$4500 win for the Polar Bears.

Regardless of how things may play out for them from here on, there will be a bunch of teams wishing they were in a regional tournament....like Lexington Catholic and others.
