I think the Blue Colonels will pull it out in front of a packed house. Guard play will be the key in this one. If CovCath can lock down the Dixie shooters and play solid defense I think they can get the ball down to Thelen and Wellbrock and cause problems for Dixie's big men.

I really don't think you can call it 'peaking' when they drop out of the top ten in NKY and in the process fall behind FIVE teams they have already beaten this year. The other coaches in NKY certianly aren't giving much respect right now.

 

If you're referring to Clyde saying 'peaking', he really doesn't mean that. He's just saying that in gest because after CCH beat Holy Cross last Friday, I said that it looks like the Colonels were 'starting to peak'. Not many are buying that comment from me, but I just thought that they were starting to show some growth from their past weaknesses and coming together better as a team. Hopefully they can continue on that path and throw their hat in the ring come tournament time and make the already interesting 9th Region that much more interesting.

I like Dixie in this game. I think their guards will be extremely phsyical with CovCath and guard play will be the deciding factor. If Pike can stay out of foul trouble he should be anble to bang in the paint with Thelan. I like Dixie in a close one.

I think Dixie will take the win on this one, in a very close game.

I like the Red Colonels in this one. Pike and Simth will be very physical down low with Thelen and Wellbrock which will frustrate the two big guys.

 

When it comes to guard play, I see Brandon Hatton having a big game for the Red Colonels. I give Dixie the edge when it comes to guard play and because of this, DH pulls out a win by around 10.
