You miss the point. In this country, the automobile is king. We love our cars, the vast majority of us own them and it's much more convenient for us. The high speed rail thing is a colossal waste of money. The one they want to build in this area is a prime example. Six and a half hours to go from Cincy to Cleveland. :lol: I can drive 35 and reach Cleveland quicker than that. High speed indeed....

No reason that we cant build on akin to the bullet trains of Japan 200mph Cleveland in 1.5 hrs .

I love travel by train in England, however the distances are typically much shorter and that is why it works really well over there. I do not think it will have the same appeal here due to the longer distances between cities large enough to support it.

And you can drive to Columbus in 2 hours. When you get there you can drive anywhere you want b/c you'll already have a car there.
