Boone's missed free throws in the second half were their downfall. Smith Keller also hit a couple of big threes. Montgomery looked good for Boone. He led them with about 20. I'm not sure if anyone else from Boone was in double figures. Boone was up about 7 early in the third quarter. They led by 1 at the half. Quiet game for Kowolonek and Gabbard. Gabbard had a chance to tie at the buzzer with a three that was short.

Anybody have a final on the JV game? I watched til halftime and Boone was putting it on the Birds who couldnt get anything to fall.

 

Cooper Downs is a very quick guard for that team.

Highlands roller coaster season continues. They lose to Ryle but beat Boone. Go figure.

Big night for Jack Stewart the Bluebird 6'6 Jr Center and Garrett Smith-Keller who pitched in 14. Grubbs doesnt hit the books for 2nd night in a row. Wow

IMO He showed great patience and poise with his team tonight and the players bounced back from a lackluster effort the night before.:ylsuper:

Yes, Highlands missed a few late free throws when Boone had to foul, and left the door open, but Boone could not capitalize.

 

Flynn stayed sitting.

Why wasn't Grubbs dressed?

Montgomery had the best game of anyone on the floor, finishing with 20 and 10.
