Highlands 62 Boone County 59

From the Highlands side of things I thought this was a very good road win, esp. considering Kowolonek had an off night scoring, Watson played only half the game due to fouls, and Grubbs and Grote out due to injury. Stewart was very strong inside (I will say again he is very underrated) plus Smith-Keller and Dill really stepped for Birds. Lother solid game.

I don't think this team had an opportunity to have all their players in the same game yet and it appears that they may not all year......despite their obvious depth, playing a different rotation because of injury is a challenge. I believe the key for them is to have others step into/embrace a greater role. Lother and Dill are capable, are very versatile and occasionally show signs of providing that help. They are seniors also and may have to be the ones to fill the void if the injuries are not overcome. It continues to be an interesting year for HHS.
