I would think the top 5 teams this year in the 10th will be in some order

I think Campbell County could make it into the top 5. They have a new coach and this will be a different program than what they have had in previous years.

Hmmm didn't they hire the trainer's dad? What's his credentials? After all the five teams I saw listed all run ruled them last year they will not be in top 10

He is from Houston, TX and has won a National Championship in AFA. This team will be MUCH better than they have been. Has coached quite a few All Americans (NCAA) and very good connections with college coaches. They will be much more disciplined and fundamentally sound. Even the 2 weeks he was here last year working the girls they improved greatly with their hitting. He is very good at what he does. He did not have to take the job but wanted to so he could show the girls the correct way to play the game. Ask any of the girls what they think of him. They will tell you.

 

I am just saying you will see a different team this year and they will compete in every game and might surprise a few teams.

 

Yes, they did hire the athletic trainers dad.

Oh yes, of course. Brossart has the pitching and discipline to do it, Bracken has been improving every year (beat Clark last year at Clark) and they have strong pitching as well, and Harrison is going to be tough this year. All 5 of these teams have future college softball players on the roster. Should make for an interesting year for 2010!

I agree they are solid teams. When was the last time someone other than Clark or Montgomery won this region? It's only 3 weeks good to see a little softball talk.

Walt Lambert. He is a very good coach and very knowledgeable of the game. He will have these girls playing the game the right way.

Think Bracken has gotten over the hump of beating Clark and Montgomery and will go to state this year representing the 10th.

Montgomery County only lost 2 starters, the shortstop and left fielder. Montgomery County should win the 10th.

You just can't rank someone ahead of Montgomery/Clark until they're beaten in the post-season. There are teams with the talent to do it. I guess we'll soon find out if they will.
