January 6, 201016 yr The Hawk gets in, Blyleven gets very close received 74.2% of vote, you need 75% to get in. Larkin gets 51% a good sign for the future for him to get in. What you think? Did Alomar get snubbed? What does Blyleven need to do to get in? Edited January 6, 201016 yr by Reality Check Spelling
January 6, 201016 yr Author People have been hard on Dawsons numbers but you have to look at the era that he played. I think he passed the "sniff test" he looked and played like a hall of famer.

January 6, 201016 yr Whoever voted for David Segui, Pat Hentgen, and Kevin Appier need to have their Hall of Fame voting rights revoked...
January 6, 201016 yr Congrats to the Hawk! Alomar is a lock next time if he don't make anybody between now and then. I would love to hear an explanation as to why the guys at the bottom got any votes.
January 6, 201016 yr Whoever voted for David Segui, Pat Hentgen, and Kevin Appier need to have their Hall of Fame voting rights revoked... Jay Marrioti's attitude about voting makes me think he should lose his voting privelages as well.
January 6, 201016 yr Jay Marrioti's attitude about voting makes me think he should lose his voting privelages as well. What's he do?
January 6, 201016 yr Very well deserved. He was truly one of the most feared hitters of his era and, until Olympic Stadium's turf ground his knees up, a true 5 tool player. Hopefully, Blyleven and Larkin get in next season.
January 6, 201016 yr What's he do? I think he is the guy on Around the Horn that works for the Denver Post?
