Looked like a called screen pass that never developed. Newton had the right idea just didn't throw it close enough to the feet for my liking.

I would have called that intentional grounding. that didn't even get close to the receiver.

 

Not sure if you can call it when he has a receiver in the area. But he could of made a much better attempt to get rid of it than what he did.

Newton looks much faster than he looked during the regular season.
