Tied 23-23 at the half, the Mustangs put 48 points on the board in the second half to improve to 7-0 on the season, heading to next week's Ashland Invitational Tournament.

The King twins will wear you out. They scored all 23 of their team's first half points, and 45 of the team's 56. They are a load!!!

Jacob Rieger strong tonight, put up 28 points and pulled down 11 boards.

Brossart JVs Won 54-25

All 19 players the Mustangs took to Deming put ink in the JV or Varsity scorebook.

Superlative performance by Rieger. 28 n 11 is very impressive I dont care who you play.

Brossart is a team to watch out for in March. They could be the #2 team in the Region.

Great game by both teams. Deming kept up with the 'Stangs in the first half but when you have some many turnovers in the last half hard to beat a team like Brossart. Good to meet you Mustang.:thumb:

With the low scores Mason County has been putting up this year, most definetly Brossart is Number 2.

Let's don't get carried away and start fueling anyone's fire!

Overlooking, or disregarding Mason County is a recipe for disaster. We've been practicing for Mason County's 1/2 court trap since the conclusion of last season's regional tournament encounter in which we trailed 34-2 at one point. Their program has earned our attention and respect. We are of the belief that to be the best you have to beat the best, and until we clear the Scott and Mason County hurdles, you will hear no such chest-thumping from us.

We appreciate the kind thoughts, and I sincerely hope that you are correct in your assumptions. The Scott Eagles are an excellent basketball team, and our encounter on January 2nd in Alexandria should speak volumes to just who is deserving of the Number 2 (or Number 3) spot.

I still have to go GRC and Mason Co as 1 & 2 but with the way Brossart has been playing with some quality wins I would probably move them up to #3 ahead of Scott.

Shows why no matter how many times Brossart beats your school, it's hard for you to dislike them!
