Its that time of the year, where the forecasters call for a foot and we get an inch.

 

Apparently EKY is going to get hammered. Middlesboro and Harlan around 10 inches of snow this weekend!!!

 

I think Lex is in the 2-4 range with NKY in the 1-3 range. But the map is trending westward which would mean good things for people wanting snow in Central Ky.

They said about an inch Saturday morning. Glad I am off this weekend.

The Morehead area is supposed to get mostly rain tomorrow night, with it turning into snow early tomorrow morning, they are calling for 2-4 by Saturday late-morning/early-afternoon. :ohbrother: I used to like snow when I was in high school, but now when I live on my own and am responsible for going to school and work, I really, really don't like it.

I don't really think it's supposed to amount to that much really.

How long will you get to stay here at home?

Man!!! Looks like a good Friday evening trip to Snowshoe in WV for a weekend of skiing would be well worth it. Saturday and Sunday in the powder. I wonder when the last time they got 20 inches of fresh stuff in a weekend was?

Might I add......I HATE snow and from the way this winters outlook goes it seems that I am going to be one unhapy man all winter. :irked:

I call this the 'Kroger' forecast. Grocery and retail stores calling in the weather reports for that extra push for Christmas profits. Would bet this will not only amount to no snow,but very little rain as well. On forecasts more than 2-3 days out, weathermen average about 1% right year after year. The only time we ever get anything significant is when it sneaks up on us. Get so tired of all the missed forecasts in the winter time year after year.
