I didn’t see the show nor do I have any idea about the black boxes. However, if the CIA, Bush Administration, DOD, or Girl Scouts were behind the attacks then why has Osama and Al-Qaeda admitted responsibility multiple times or are they in cahoots with the CIA? Anyone who buys into this theory needs to give me a call, I’ve got some beach front property in Montana to sell them.

 

 

I need to once again state that I don't believe it was an inside job in any way. My only questions are about the black boxes not being recovered. It is highly unlikely they wouldn't have been. The web site I looked at to shoot down the one or two friends I had that started to believe doesn't give any answer about the boxes let alone a good explanation. It just destroys every other theory.

 

 

 

 

I may be way off base here, but I thought the black boxes only documented instrument readings and technical data of the flight. Not that I believe any conspiracy was involved here, but why would they hide the black boxes if there was a conspiracy. Do we believe these were fluke accidents all occuring at the same time?

 

 

 

The black boxes also have voice recordings from inside the cockpit. It would let everyone know what was said, who was saying it, and at what point they took over the plane. The Ventura show is stating that one of the planes was hijacked before take off therefore it should have never taken off or it should have been interecepted by a military jet. Their whole thing was these planes all should have been interecepted. At the very least the last 3 should have been. I'm not sure why you mentioned fluke. Nobody believes it was a fluke.

Thanks. It was a poorly worded thread title. I just think it gives the theorists their only leg to stand on. What conclusions that can be drawn from it are hard to tell. Most of the people I have seen that have a theory don't think it was an inside job per say. They just say that we set up the scenario that this could happen, and it did. All of the theorists that I've seen think the planes should have been interecepted.

Black boxes are not 'indestructable'. They are designed to survive a the key destruction factors of a 'standard' plane crash. This includes sudden forces and short term extreme tempratures.

The combination of armor, insulation, and thermal block protect the brains of the black box from flames and temperatures of 2,000 degrees Fahrenheit (1100 C) for 30 minutes-- the temperature and duration of a jet-fuel fire. It can also survive lying in the smouldering wreckage for ten hours, withstanding 500°F (260C) during that time.

 

The fires at the top of the WTC were estimated to be around 800-1000 C. This temprature alone for the amount of time between the crashes and collapse could likely have destroyed the data.

They said they were never recovered. That's where I question them. If they said they found them, but they were heavily damaged and the data was useless it would have been more believable to me.

I don't have an argument about any other thing in this thread except this.

 

It is well known that Al-Qaeda and Osama have no love towards the United States and they obviously do not like democracy and independence that draw many here. With that said, why wouldn't they take credit, even if they did not do it? By exclaiming they did do it, it makes them seem all the more powerful and dangerous - something that they want others to believe and fear.

 

Why do people claim to do anything, for that matter? The cat that said he was responsible for JonBenet's death, who actually did not do it, why did he do that? It's for publicity. Back to Al-Qaeda, whether they did or didn't do the incident, they want people to believe they had the power to do so.

I always enjoy what the governor has to say when he is on Howard Stern. The recent episode on the Global Warming conspiracy theorys was interesting. I'm looking forward to the one about the secret societys including the Bildebergers. I don't buy everything the governor talks about but it is interesting and makes you think.
