Holmes 45 Memphis Central 40

What did Pittman finish with? As I said before he had to be available for them to win tonight.

Very convenient for Holmes that Pittman was available tonight.

Solid win.

Great win for Holmes. Congrats to the team and their coaching staff.

Why would he not be? Do you even know the basis on why he wasn't available vs St Henry?

If it is a coaches decision that he didn't play against St Henry and he did vs Memphis Central and they got 2 wins out of the deal then I think that is a smart coach. He sent his message to the kid (in all likely hood who just lacked effort in practice or had a bad attitude towards his coaches and peers) and didn't jeapordize his teams chances to win.

Great Win for Holmes!

For Holmes to hold Central to just 40 points is very impressive. I believe Central came in rated the #6 team in Tn and was averaging close to 70 ppg.

What should the coach have done? Suspend him for more than 1 game? I dont understand what you think should have happened and do you even know why he was not in the St. Henry game?

If the Dogs want to repeat this season Pittman will be the deciding factor. If he keeps his nose clean and his grades up then they will contend but if he isnt there they are going to struggle against the good teams.

Cov. Holmes: 10-14-9-12-45

3 pointers: MC 1 (Peete); H 5 (Pittman 3, R. Johnson, Rice)

Pittman also had 10 rebounds to go with his 13 points. Impressive for him to hold the Stokes kid to just 8 points.

I don't see JJ for Holmes in the box score.Did he play at all in this game?

4 players scoring for the dogs is rather interesting. Where is their depth? I honestly think after this season the Dogs are going to go back to being a normal team.

Lol so currently they are abnormal?

What do you as a coach do in a low scoring, hard fought game, clear your bench and let everyone play? It will be very hard for any team to duplicate what the Bulldogs have done for the last 2 years and will probably do again this year when all is said and done.

Man--Sure hope those guys over on the Brossart-Campbell thread don't see this final score?? :D
