December 13, 200916 yr I'd say you better sell it for that and move on. The prices on new ones are only going to drop even more. I would take $700 for it. I know $50 isnt a big deal, that just means I come out even!

December 15, 200916 yr Just put a 32" LCD (Vizio) in our bedroom this weekend. An early Christmas present for my wife. Tremendous picture. Absolutely love it. Next up, 50" + for the living room. They may have to wait a while.
December 17, 200916 yr Author Bought 50 LG 1080 tonight at HH Gregg. Price was 1200 in showroom. Found young salesman and asked him if I paid cash what he could drop it to. He came back with 1100. I then showed him my price off the internet for 950. He said we dont honor those, so I said well this internet store has free shipping and no tax...his response was let me ask just in case...he took the bait, I have a new Plasma...Thanks everyone for your assistance!
December 17, 200916 yr How do you figure? When they first came out, LCDs were much longer lasting than plasmas. However, now they are practically even. Plus, for sports action, I prefer a plasma over the motion blur of a LCD. You are right. Most plasmas lasts longer than LCD's now. At least that's what they told me at Best Buy the other day.
