It is the reflection of ice crystals in the earth's atmosphere...It also means that rain is on the way.

That is one of the most awesome things I have ever seen in the night sky.

 

I know we have some stargazers on BGP and I hope they can explain it to us. Wow!

Too cloudy for me to see it.

I tried to take some pictures but that didn't work out too well.

I didn't see any stars inside of the ring, so according to the link above the bad weather should hit tomorrow.
