Amis did a good job running the point and the kid that inpress me the most was the Salyers kid that transfer in from Breathitt last yr. He led Perry in scoring with 11 pts. and had about 8 or 9 rebounds coundn't beleive the Bobcat's from Breathitt let this one get away. He looks better than any of our inside players from Breathitt. gold sunrise
Final from the Fast Lanes Tipoff Classic from Inez. Clark County had a couple of looks from 3 in the last 10 seconds, but were unable to connect... Terrible game for GRC. Stenzel spained his ankel the first half and was held to 2 points. Jaylan Daniels didn't score. Rogers led GRC with 14, Zollo 12, Purvis 7 and Kindred 3.
sportsdad
Would like to have seen this game. These are 2 very good teams. Everyone is talking about Clark and they should, but Perry County Central is going to have a great season. Who knows, these 2 may play again in March. d-dawg
Clark needs more movement on their zone offense. Edited November 29, 2009 by d-dawg
mcpapa
While they still count in the W-L column, I don't put a tremendous amount of stock in the real early games. Clark County will be a formidable opponent in the 10th this year.

mcpapa
Was this a regular season game? I think it was just a scrimmage. Scratch the earlier "W-L column comment".
d-dawg
I think it was just a scrimmage. Scratch the earlier "W-L column comment". Just a scrimmage. Perry Central had a smaller ,well coached team. They were quick, well disciplined on offense and had good shot selection. Sure wasn't a fun game to watch--too slow. loubballfan
This just goes to show that the Clark-Holmes scrimmage probably doesn't mean too much either.

gold sunrise
This just goes to show that the Clark-Holmes scrimmage probably doesn't mean too much either. The Holmes/GRC scrimmage showed that GRC can play with anyone in the state if they come to play. The scrimmage yesterday showed that they can be beat if they don't bring their "A" game.
