Great Job Falcons!!! The Falcons played as close to flawless in the first half as I've ever seen...Not even the most sorriest/pathetic/ scandals /cheating referees in the business could stop the Falcons. I'll post more tomorrow but 4am is going to be here very soon...

Impressive win for the Falcons. I picked Green County in this one but I'm happy to have missed that pick. Congrats!

Great game for our Falcons tonight, the refs were the suckiest I have ever seen in all my years of football!!!! My hats off to a hard fought game by Green, I hope Griff steps down now because everyone is getting tired of the extremely dirty play he coaches and teaches these young men!!

Alls I can say is Green has been to the regionals three straight years and no championship. Monroe has been twice...and have two trophies!!! Now if FC can have an off night maybe we could add a state championship to that mix...Any ideas????I am very proud of our boys, and extremely grateful to a wonderful coaching staff!!! We all are looking forward to a great game with an extremely talented and clean FC. They have the fans that make friday nights wonderful. See you at Falcon Stadium next Friday!!!:thumb:

Congratulations to Monroe County on a big win!

Big win for the Falcons. Green was outplayed and out coached in this game. Problem I have with Green is their coach. He teaches dirty football which is not part of the game. Looking forward to going to Fort Campbell to play NO 1 team in 2A. Have great respect for FC and their fans. We will show up and come to play and hope FC has off night. Great job by Monroe coaching staff. They added a few new wrinkles and Green never able to adjust. GO Monroe CO. Falcons.

It was an awesome game from Monroe co. The refs were not that great. Some of green's players did play dirty and that makes you think that the head coach taught them some nasty tricks.

My thoughts,

Neil Wilson is amazing, he just makes plays.

Coach Petett (and assistants) made Coach Griffith look like he was a softball coach filling in for the night.

Refs were bad, real bad. They let Green get away with some very dirty play that could have turned very ugly things like punching players, chop blocks, chipping and even a eye gouge or two. They made very little effort to get the game under control and IMO their performance should be reviewed.

Green Co. players for the most part are probably good kids, let’s hope they forget the lessons Griff has taught them.

Defense for the Falcons was unreal, Coach Knuckles and Coach Hale deserve a lot of credit, as well as the DE's. earlier in the season I felt like we were losing too much ground at that position, however the last three games the DE’s have played great, the pressure they apply is really helping disrupt opposing offenses.

Glad to see Green Co. accept the runner up trophy this year, I expected them not to except it like last year but they did and that was good to see, like I said their good kids their just getting bad guidance.

Attendance at the game was awesome, kudos to both Monroe and Green for that.

The police escort back into T-Ville with lights and sirens blaring was awesome, let’s do it again next week.

It can’t be said enough what a great job Coach Petett has done here, I know some people had doubts after his first two seasons but some people would have doubts if you went 14-1, the bottom line is I wouldn’t trade him for anyone and the things his staff and him have done the last two years have been great and with large amount of the offense being Jr.s and having a huge unbeaten freshman class the sky is the limit for the future of Falcon Football.

Congratulations Monroe Co., I wonder if it was the same officiating crew that called the Danville vs Green Co. game? Though it wouldn't have made a difference there were some calls in that game where the refs looked lost. Hope Monroe can upset Fort Campbell you guys deserve a shot at the championship.:thumb:

I don't want to harp to much more about the officiating but not only did they not punish the dirty play from Green but they did manage to call illegal equipment on us for a player not having his mouthpiece in, problem is it was called before the ball was snapped (way before the ball was snapped) ironically that call was made on 1st and goal for Green. Of course we also had the phantom holding calls on long plays as well as a few block in the back penalties that negated some big plays. We also witnessed the worst call possibly ever made in high school football, here’s the situation, Green QB drops back to throw a pass deep which he under throws bad the defender and the receiver come back for it and the defender sets up like an outfielder in the spot the ball is coming to then right before the ball gets there the receiver (still coming back) nails the defender in the back knocking them both out of the way, the call that followed.... Defensive pass interference! Pathetic...

Had this game been close there’s no doubt in my mind we would have been robbed.

Refs were bad let too many dirty plays keep going on. I talked to quite a few Green Co. fans during the game and one man after game all these people nice people. Green Co. like Monroe has a few bad fans which can make all of the fans seem bad. Do not like Green Co. coach but only my opinion.
