November 16, 200916 yr Shane McMahon is no longer with the WWE based on what I've read. Was he apart of that group that was behind M1 Global and signed Fedor but then never actually held any fights?

M-1 Global represents Fedor right now and they use that to their advantage. They force anyone who wants to sign Fedor to "co-promote" their events with M-1 Global. For example, any Affliction event you saw with Fedor in it was also an M-1 event. In some other countries it was known strictly as an M-1 event, I believe. M-1 wanted the UFC to co-promote with M-1 Global in order to sign Fedor and there was no way the UFC would do that. They built an empire, there's no reason for them to let a smaller company leach off them for one or two great fighters. Strikeforce took the deal and co-promotes any event with Fedor on it.
