UFC in trouble???

Featured Replies

UFC is not in real financial trouble but they are having some problems.

They have no minor leagues, and the stars are getting old.

They are having trouble keeping fights on schedule, Big Nog is now out of his fight........making it like 6 of 8 main events changed or cancelled.

There is a need for more organizations, you simply cannot build multiple stars in each class with the match making Joe Silva does.

The last problem there is little the UFC can do, judging needs addressed and rules need changed.

I think UFC 100 spoiled the casual fanbase pretty bad.

Shane McMahon is no longer with the WWE based on what I've read.

Don't ever count out Vince McMahon. I wouldn't put it past him asking Shane to do something like this.

The Fertitta brothers and Dana know what they're doing. They're not going to sell the company to the McMahon's.

The judging is what everyone seems to be talking about recently. The Machida/Shogun fight was horrible, and I thought Vera should have gotten the decision over Couture, although that one was closer. It has happened several times in the UFC, but moreso here recently.

$$$$$$ talks, and the rumors are that the Fertitta brothers are listening to offers, and lets be honest we are talking over $1billion........that could go a long way to prop up the casinos that are struggling.

I can't see Dana selling the UFC

It's not Dana's to sell. He works for the Fertitas, they own the UFC.....which has been said already.

With that said, I don't think they'll sell or allow the WWE to buy into it. I can't imagine what good (for the UFC) could come out of a meeting with the McMahon family.

As far as the illnesses go, that's a tough one.....lotsa folks are getting sick these days. Lesnar may have to forfeit the belt if he's that sick.

Later.

Money talks. Vince is about making money. If UFC is having financial problems don't be surprised if McMahon doesn't buy into it.

As far as I know the UFC isn't having financial troubles.
