Allen Central 60 Pineville 34

Featured Replies

Congratulations to the Rebels, I'm proud to be an Alumni(the 1st class) of Allen Central High School.

Now on to Hazard and take them down.

:ylsuper:

Next to seeing St. X. win 49-0 over Boone County, this 60-34 win by Allen Central over Pineville was my favorite outcome of the evening. I've taken a special liking to this little mountain team and have been following their games all season....G-R-R-R-E-A-T WIN!! :thumb:

Look out Hazard, the Allen Central Rebels are coming! :dancingpa

This was a GREAT night for Allen Central football. They made history last night...

This win was the FIRST home playoff win of a Floyd Co. team outside Prestonsburg in the history of the playoffs.

That group includes Betsy Layne, South Floyd, Allen Central, and a little further back, Wheelwright. McDowell was also a Floyd Co. high school, but they didn't play football.

Go REBELS !!! :ylsuper:

Have to say their is a "Hoosiers" element to Allen Central football...would be intriguing to see them win again this coming week.

I'm watching this one right now and 34 looks good for Central.

The Kicker for Pineville seems to have a big leg esecially on the kickoff.

Is anyone from Central's team in 2009 going on to play college football?

If so who and where?

Thanks.

The Kicker for Pineville seems to have a big leg esecially on the kickoff.

That kicker is the brother of the kid who was such a good kicker at Bell County and is currently at Western Kentucky. The younger brother, at Pineville, is going to the University of the Cumberlands.
