Highlands had their ups and down but it was obvious that when they have all of their players and and system in place that Coach Richey will have them primed for a good season against a very tough schedule.

I am hearing that Bracken's work ethic doesn't match their talent.

I hope they change it around as they are a very talented bunch and with a mindset to work hard EVERY SECOND of practice to improve themselves, they could make a deep run in the regional tournament.

 

They don't work hard and they will look back on the season wondering why they didn't.

 

You are not giving many chances to make runs in the post season of KY basketball when you are a small school and have to work hard to take advantage of those opportunities when you are blessed with them.

 

I don't keep up with the girls like I do the boys. Who is their coach? Is this thier first year?

Patrick Kelsch who is in his 2nd year, I believe, after been assistant and finishing out the previous season when the coach had some family/personal/health/something issues.

 

Very knowledgeable and hard worker.

 

Also, seems to have his picture taken with a lot of famous people and posted here on BGP.

 

They have height and talent. They should/could/will be a very good team.

 

I would think they should be a top 4 team in the region, if they work to their talent. Not in games but in practice every single day. Can't just turn it on come game time.

The LadyBirds had experienced depth last season, which beginning this season they do not. However they have some great talent in their young players, who with some experience should be strong contributors. I like their chances to contend for the regional championship this season.
