SC is the most dangerous 3 seed in the state and will be favored in this game. I predict the score will suggest it's a close game but no real worries. SC will put Russell away early in the fourth.

I agree Sheldon Clark is dangerous, but if they take the Devils lightly then they'll be going home early.

I agree with a previous post, it is time to cheer and pull for all the local teams. I know Russell CAN win but will they? IF SC comes out and plays like they did early in the season, it will be a long night for the Devils.

I stopped by practice tonight and I can assure you that not one person assosicated with the team is looking forward. Sheldon Clark will be prepared and ready to play Friday

I haven't seen this year's Russell team quit in any games yet, but I don't know if they have what it takes to step it up when faced with a challenge like Sheldon Clark is surely going to present this coming cold November Friday night. I would imagine Sheldon Clark is going to come at them as intense and physical as any team has this year. How will they deal with it? I'd say a lot is up to the seniors on this team. This is the last class with any link to state title games and the glory of the middle of the decade. Will they be content to head home to the heaters or will they fight back? We shall see.

Don't really know alot about Sheldon Clark except that they have had a good year. But I am going with Russell. It just seem to me that they always comes to play in playoff time. By that, I am going on the way they have played went they played Mercer when they where in the same District (or Region). Good luck to both teams.

I'll be rooting for Russell. I don't know how this one is going to turn out.

Kristian Skyles who has been out the last few weeks with an injury has been released to play Friday. He will be a big difference maker in this game as he is Sheldon Clarks best all around player

I might be wrong but I really feel like Sheldon Clark is under the radar more than any team in the state. I said preseason that Lawrence Co could go undefeated and pull the biggest turnaround in state history. I'm going on record now saying Sheldon Clark shocks the state and wins the Region from a 4 seed!
