It can be done with a good front office, good scouts, etc. Money doesn't equal a pennant as the stats show on average one World Series participant a year is from outside the top ten. Then why don't the yankees quit spending that extra 100 million or so every year if it doesn't matter that much?:ohbrother:

October 28, 200916 yr A good front office, and good scouts certainly helps, but when the great players you scouted, signed and developed thru your farm system leaves for the big market money after a few years then you have to start all over again while the big market teams can simply reload year after year. :clap::clap::clap:
