paNDA had some great pictures of that loud and proud group of young ladies who came down for that game!

Sadly you don't understand that even when CovCath charteed something like 11 buses to JC a couple of years ago, the students paid to ride!

 

Even back in the 60's when attending the sweet sixteen state tourney games in Louisville either the student senate paid or the kids themselves did.

 

If I remember correctly the girls paid to ride the buses to Bowling Green and purchased there own tickets.

 

BTW I have spoken to a person working in the NDA office about this and she thought it was a great idea and was going to pass it on to the proper channels!

I assume that the girls are going to be out of school to attend the game. If so, I don't see NDA chartering a bus for a 15 minute ride.

Word has it at NDA that the sisters are considering letting the girls out early in order to attend the match. I have not heard anything about a bus. Using a bus would permit all the girls to attend, even the Freshman and Sophmores who may not have the ability to drive themselves there or be reliant upon their parents who will be working. In addition, how cool would that be to have a bus load of fans dropped off to cheer their team to victory. How fun would it be to be on the bus! I guess we just have to wait and see what the sisters decide.

I am thinking that Regents Hall will be filled to the brim with NDA students Friday afternoon around 1pm!

 

It will be very easy and the girls won't miss much time in the line of classes either, if the good sisters charter some tank buses for the entire student body of NDA (close to 600 young ladies) and I am sure around a hundred or so CovCath boys who just might come down with some sort of Gold and Blue version of the H1N1 flu.

 

Regents Hall will at least for the 1pm game, be packed and loud......

As nice as it would be to have a crowd in this opening round game, the team needs support from the students when they face the big foe's. Years past someone did a great job getting the students there, I hope this happens again.
