Final.

Congrats Pirates on what looks like another district title.

There was an altercation in the 2nd Qtr. of the game and 2 starting lineman from Belfry and 3 starters from Sheldon Clark were ejected from the game and won't be eligible to play in next weeks game..

A LOT more than that will be gone!

It sounds like Belfrey whipped a very good Sheldon Clark team.

Fill em in on the situation prior to the altercation JD, I believe you were there to see it.

Wow...was it an all out YouTube worthy melee???

Im not sure about YouTube but this wasnt just a pushing and shoving altercation. It involved some punches and quite a few swings.

Discussion needs to stay on the play of the game, or we'll need to close the thread.

Conveniently, Belfry plays East Ridge next week so they can likely breeze through that game with half a team. However, this could affect my Russell Red Devils as Sheldon Clark plays Pike County Central next week who has played some teams tough. A Pike County Central win means Sheldon Clark is visiting Russell in week 1 of the playoffs. That's not the 1st round game either team was looking for.

Am I allowed to?

Congratulations to Belfry on a convincing win. You are much tougher than some are giving you credit for this year.

PM him.

Big win for Belfry here. Sounds like they took advantage of turnovers and played good defense after the initial Sheldon Clark score.

Was nice to see the young QB with a strong game. 3-4 passing with a couple scores and the long run late in the game.

Looks like Belfry is poised for a deep playoff run.
