October 14, 200916 yr Oh, Birdsfan, those are defintely real. I know some chef's who can carve pumpkins like that. I always felt ashamed when we had pumpkin carving contests at work. My best efforts still always looked like a kindergarten effort. :lol: On a tangent....I think one of the things I was so happy to see end as my children grew older was the task of carving a pumpking. THANK GOD I don't have to do that every year now!

I don't see how you could carve photo-realistic fratures like that into a pumpkin, and make the depths such that the shading works perfectly. :idunno:
