One thing you can say about McCreary is that if they fall behind early against a team equal or better than them, it starts to snowball.

 

That doesn't mean they can't come back, but it seems to snowball.

 

Once they fell behind Knox, it started snow balling. McCreary needs to be stout in the defense and get a few big plays off. They need to run some play action with Roark because he is such a dangerous running back.

The thing I Love about this, is everyone is a Coach. We (self included) think we know who is goning to win every game and just how to go about winning every game. Every Friday night there are some up-sets, I,m sure there will be some this friday, Go Raiders.

I will say this:

 

If the game is a touchdown or less either way to start the fourth quarter, Raiders win.

You are correct about that but we did close the gap slightly today with one of our best practices of the year in very miserable weather. I have never seen the kids work so hard I was very proud of their efforts!

The 6' 5" 310lbs Jr right tackle is out for the year (torn acl and mcl).

 

the 6' 5" 28olbs senior is out for two weeks but should be back for senior night against Lynn Camp!

 

The Jr linebacker that was out Friday with a shoulder injury returned to practice today along with a sophmore LB/DL/OL who has been out due to a shoulder injury as well.

 

So we are still not at full strength but as we lost a couple we got a couple back and at this point in the season we will take what we can get!

Mccreary's speed will be difficult for Rock to handle if the field is somewhat dry. Rock had some trouble with the Brown kid from Madison Southern.

Last year at half score wae 20-16 Rock. Roark was held out 2nd half with a hand injury. If Raiders can keep the score close through 3 QT. They will go on and win the game. The prize for winning this game Pride and a chance to beat Rock. The next prize is Bell in 2nd round if can win 1st paly-off game. Good Luck Raiders.

Watts is similar but better than Brown and has Roark to take the pressure off. You can't key on either one because the other is so good. The injuries up front concern me because Rock is always physical and will line up and come get you.
