This is probably Boyd County's last chance at a win since they still have Lawrence County followed by Ashland to finish up this very ugly season.

I hate to say it, but I honestly think Greenup County wins convincingly, but not in a blowout. Just enough to see there is no doubt who is better.

Boyd, Greenup set for scrap

Greenup is going to win this game. The question is by what score. Boyd held Belfry, Russell, Rowan Co, Raceland and everyone else they have played under 30 points. The most points they have given up this year is 28 points to a good Belfry and Rowan Co teams. The Lions always seem to stay in the game they are playing. Boyd averages 11.8 ppg and gives up 22 ppg. Greenups field is going to be sloppy again with the rain being here for the next few days and no grass on the field. If Carter is healthy that will really be good for GC. The D won't be able to react to Carters cuts. That is if he can stand up and cut. I think if Greenup holds on to the ball and doesn't fumble it away. They can reach the 30 points that no other team has been able to do. Carter is fast and Boyd is slow. Greenups got lineman coming back so I'm goin to say Greenup Co wins 30-13.

This will be the break out game. It has been a while since GC delivered a lopsided win and this Friday night will it.
