I heard the Bulldog talking about this game earlyer on 700 and I was wondering why is it being played tonight.

This SK team could match up with Highlands. I was at the Highlands/Ryle game and Highlands could not move the ball the way this SK team is.

Seems like Ryle has somewhat figured out whats working. SK on the other hand needs to get back to what was working, RUN THE BALL.

Well, Ryle finally got a little something going and took away some momentum. Now, they can't let SK score. Go to the locker room and figure something out.

Impressive first half, I thought it was going to be much closer. Miles and Lawrence are having a field day.

22-0. Ryles not completely out of it yet they showed some improvement that last quarter.

That's what I was thinking, SK died down a little bit in that 2nd quarter. However SK has been solid in the second half all season long as far as conditioning.

If I am Ryle, my first offensive series I try to run some plays off tackle and try to get on the edge. SK is just stuffing the box full. If Ryle can get a quick play off the end and seal the linebacker, Elliott may be able to bust a long play. I would not come out throwing the ball on the first series if I am Ryle.

 

If I am SK, I go right back to my same series of plays from the first half. Run the misdirection plays with Lawrence and see if Ryle made the adjustments they need to stop them.

 

I know the weather is bad and the ball is slick, but neither of these QB's has shown me much throwing the ball. Lawrence's arm does not look that strong to me. Hempel has a good arm but he is not on target at all. I am not going to read too much into it with this weather but....
