"Modern Family"

My favorite line in this one was when Luke was in the hospital bed and Lily was pulling on the IV bag and asked "what is this" and Luke says "I don't know, but thanks to Obama you will be paying for it"...

This week's episode was hilarious.

Claire (on the phone overhearing everything): "What was that?"

Cameron: "Oh, I'm just watching an original Lifetime movie called The Boy Who Can't Breathe."

Claire: "That sounded like Alex."

Cameron: "Nope, just Amanda Bynes."

Godfather scene tonight was excellent.

I was going to post the same! Very clever! We had some great laughs.

That sad thing is that I had to explain to my wife why the scene was so great. She was clueless when I told her that Clare was about to have the door shut in her face.

It hit me right before the "hits" started that they were about to do it. I paused the TV and explained to my wife (who has never seen The Godfather) what was about to happen and why it was HILARIOUS.

Skip to 3:39 for the beginning of the scene.

Wow, I totally missed that they had foreshadowed the Godfather theme in the beginning of the episode until I rewatched this clip.
