Open Week

Featured Replies

We're open over here this week. I don't know what I am going to do with the week off and thought I would see what some of the rest of you do when the home team is not playing. Do you go to other games, watch tv, what????

I usually go and watch other games. This year we played on a Sat so I watched Lynn Camp play Whitley. And on our open wekk I watched Rockcastle play Pulaski. It is hard for me to not watcha high school football game. We had an away game at Johnson Central and I watched Harlan play Williamsburg.

I always go to another game. Usually a mutual opponent that we haven't played yet. If that isn't an option I attend what I think will be the best game. Which is usally across the river in Ironton Oh. Our open week is the last week of the regular season, I'm not sure if that's a good or bad thing.

Last week up here in NKY the Highlands vs X and the Simon Kenton vs Conner game were both on T.V. That and the fact it was rainning. With hot pizza and a cold six pack it was a no brainer. I guess it just depends on your options? :p

I like to go to place I've never been before. For instance this season we went to the Whitley County/Belfry game. It's always a good chance to visit new places and see good teams play.

I don't get a week off...one of the Oldham County schools is always playing - they stagger their weeks off - so I'm always with one of them...

I agree, it's hard to stay home and not watch a game on friday night. Sometimes my Wife don't understand but so be it.

You can come up here and hang out with me at the X/T game. :D

Going to go watch other teams in our district! Want to know ahead of time how they stack up against us...:jump:
