Green 27-21

Lone Oak will light up the scoreboard on Green County, especially if the weather conditions are good. It will take more than just running the ball every play to beat the Purple Flash. Lone Oak handled Lexington Catholic in a very close game and I don't believe Green is any where close to the same level as Lex Cath.

From what I have read Green has an excellent team and will give LO a fight. LO's unsung advantage is their great run defense. I look for a LO victory but Green could pull it out. LO's receivers are probably itching for a dry field after Friday nights "swamp".

I feel the Purple Flash wins this one convincingly...The long bus ride, homefield advantage, ability to mix up the pass and run and a solid defense against the run, not to mention, they're a little upset with last weeks offensive performance and will be hungry to prove it was a fluke...Greens a nice, solid ballclub, but, imo, too many things going against them this week and not a great week to be playing Lone Oak... I see it about 48-21 Lone Oak...

Lone Oak should prevail in this contest since they have the homefield advantage along with it being senior night at the graveyard. Its tough for any to team to ride a bus 2-3 hours than play a football game before a packed house. I'll say Lone Oak by 17 points or more.

I was just talking to my wife and she was not trying to be mean but hopes that Lone Oak beats the Dragons by 40+. She is tired of Green running the score up on people and saying that they don't. I thought she would kill me for putting what she said on here, but that is the feelings of a lot of people that have to deal with Green!!! I thought a lot of people would get a kick out of what she said.:laugh:

How do tell a high school football team to stop playing ball because the other team isnt as good? Green is a good ball club as well as Lone Oak. Both teams have class about themselves. An you will see that. Green has reasons to have a chip on there shoulder playing against Metcalf an Monroe!!! I will say if Green stays within 7 points of LO it will be a very good game. An control the clock. Keep the ball outa LO hands. Gota say go GEEEN:

From what I have seen Green County cannot defend a passing game and LO has the best run defenses I have seen. That is why I am picking LO 52 to 14.
