Who wins and why?

I feel that Lone Oak is to powerful in the air for Green's mostly run attack.

Green is really good at pounding the ball down teams throats but will be in trouble when it comes to stopping the ariel attack of LO. LO runs only 1/2 as much as they throw and green is 5-1 run. If LO shuts down greens run, which may prove to be very difficult to do, they will run away witha victory. On the other hand if the secondary of green steps up Green has a good night. IMO the air is the way to win ball in high school!

As much as I hate to say it Green Co. is a solid football team that does several things well, I think Lone Oak is a good football team but I don't think there as close to Fort Campbell as Coach Griff claimed on the post game show Friday night, they (Lone Oak) will however be a big test for Green.

 

Not knowing anything about Lone Oak makes it hard to make a prediction, but Lone Oak had better come to play because I assure you Green will...

I voted for LO but it wouldn't suprise me if Green Co pulled out the victory. It will be a close game not matter who wins IMO.

Green's ground game has me thinking this will be a low scoring game (mid 20’s), if Green Co's coach's have any sense they will try and chew the clock with long drives and limit Lone Oaks possession’s, the worst thing Green can do is give Lone Oak to many possessions because they will score...

The more I research this game the more I agree with a low scoring game. Green had better not let LO's offense on the field much because they wiil put it in the endzone. But can they stop the powerful green co.'s running game...we will see!!!!:idunno:

Hey, an upset from the Dragons is definately possible!!! They are a team you had better bring every weapon in your arsenol if you plan on beating them. They play hard nose football for four quarters...

I agree I watched them first game of the season and they are well coached.

Green definitely plays with a chip on their shoulder, that can be a good thing if harnessed, but we've seen it go too far and cost them with stupid penalties as well...

Lone Oak is actually about 50-50 run and pass, although they've gained more yards in the air.

The Dragons will bring it to Lone Oak, but I still feel that they can not stop the ball in the air. Lone Oak has a good run game also, but prefer to throw the ball to a lot of different recievers. They have six that have scored so far this season. Not the same depth for Green.

How are they at picking up the blitz? Green is a little undersized on the OL/DL but quick off the ball and they play with a lot of grit...
