September 21, 200916 yr Should have gotten Mike Shanahan to coach this team in the off season. Tony Romo will never get this team into the playoffs, I thought they should have went after Matt Cassel in free agency or Micheal Vick after his release from prison, Romo is just a high paid backup, was a big mistake to have given him all that money, which falls back on the owner(JJ), who should also go,ala Mike Brown. Dallas will never get into the playoffs with him in control and could have a losing record this season. I would have given anything to see the Cowboys trade up Romo for Michael Vick. I hate Dallas, and that would have assured their demise.

September 21, 200916 yr Mike Shanahan needs too much control for JJ to ever consider him, IMO. Also, the Giants did not get even close to physically dominated...Eli didn't even get sacked. How can a team dominate another in a game where the opposing QB never gets sacked AND they lose? I think it is to early to pronounce that the Cowboys need changes or to talk about missed opportunities in free agency and coaching hires...they are 1-1 and lost a game in which they turned it over 4 times and didn't force any turnovers (again, how can you physically dominate a team and not get a turnover?!); it is hardly time to write their obituary, IMO.
September 22, 200916 yr I didn't see the Giants get physically whipped for 60 minutes last night. They got beat in the running game, yes, but physically whipped? Not hardly. You must have watched it with blinders on then. I gave Eli and the WR's props because they deserved it. Dallas was more physical on defense. Manning was hit time and time again and running for his life a good bit. They put a stop to the Giants run game by being more physical except the DB's. When Dallas was on offense it wasn't even close. Romo had time most of the time and more importantly they ran the ball at will. Barber over 7 yds a carry and Jones over 13 yds a carry. There is no doubt who had the more physical team last night. It was frustrating they lost but I feel good about how physical Dallas played. HB who was the most physical unit on the field last night? Did Dallas Oline or NY Dline play more physical? Did NY Oline or Dallas Front 7 play more physical?
